1) John Cena vs Samoa Joe
John Cena vs Samoa Joe at Wrestlemania is a match that I have been pitching for a few years now. This is because both Cena and Joe started their careers together.
For those who don’t know, Cena and Joe both began their careers together in Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW). Both took dramatically different routes to get to where they are today. Cena was picked up by WWE and has has been a top guy for more than 15 years. On the other hand, Joe spent plenty of time on the independent scene and in other promotions before coming to WWE.
This seems like such an easy storyline to write. Samoa Joe could cut promos about being bitter about what has happened and how Cena has had things so easy. The video package would also be incredible to show how far both have come.
This is a match that needs to happen at some point. Wrestlemania seems like the perfect spot.
