2) Gives The Miz A Big Match

The Miz has been fantastic over the past year and has been doing some of the best work of his career. I don’t think there is any denying that he has raised his game over the past 12 months or so.

From his emotional outburst on Talking Smack on Daniel Bryan to his promo ripping into John Cena, the Miz is doing some of the best mic-work of his career.

I personally feel like after the year that the Miz had, he deserves a big match at Wrestlemania. He is not going to be in the WWE Championship picture but the mixed tag team match is a big opportunity for him.

Love him or hate him, any match that John Cena is in at Wrestlemania is a big deal. Some might argue that the Miz should be involved in the Intercontinental Championship match with Dean Ambrose and Baron Corbin but I still think the match with Cena is a bigger stage for the Miz to shine.

After the year that he has had, the mixed tag team match gives the Miz a chance to shine on the grandest stage of them all. Sure it might have been better as a singles match between them but it is still a great spot for the Miz.
