Jessamyn Duke Explains Why The Horsewomen Didn’t Help Ronda Rousey At Survivor Series

Ronda Rousey was the victim of a vicious assault from Charlotte Flair at Survivor Series. After it happened, some fans were asking why the Four Horsewomen (of MMA) didn’t come out to save their friend. The group consists of Ronda, Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke. We saw Duke and Shafir help Shayna Baszler at NXT Takeover: War Games II.

Other than the obvious reason that it wasn’t in the script, Duke provided a kayfabe explanation on Instagram as to why they didn’t help Ronda.

Here is what Duke posted:

“I’ve never felt like I needed to justify my friendships to anyone, and I still don’t. However, it should be known that we had been flown back home across the country before #survivorseries yesterday. And @charlottewwe is lucky that was the case. But make no mistake, this isn’t over… This is just the beginning. No threats. Just a promise. #FourHorsewomen #4HW”

On a related note, Shayna had some words for fans booing Ronda at Survivor Series. You can read her comments here.
