Jeff Jarrett faced off against Elias on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. Elias picked up the win but it was Jarrett who got the last laugh. After a distraction from Road Dogg, Jarrett smashed his guitar over the back of Elias to close the segment.
It turns out that Jarrett broke a WWE record by competing in this match.
Jarrett now holds the record for the longest time in between matches on RAW.
Jarrett’s last RAW match was 19 years and 4 months ago. This shatters the record that was held by Zeb Colter, who competed in RAW matches that were 16 years apart.
Congratulations to JJ!
On a related note, here are several WWE records that will never be broken.
