Q: @HeelReport asks:
@InnerN3rd Thoughts on a potential Bray Wyatt vs The Rock match up at next years Wrestlemania?
— HEELReport (@HEELReport) July 11, 2016
A: I am okay with it but only if Bray gets the win! I personally feel like Bray is something very special and unique and should be booked a LOT better by the WWE. Defeating the Rock at WrestleMania would be a massive way to build him up even more. I think it could be a fun match. Let us know what you think about it in the comment section below!
Q: @IamTwistedClown asks:
“What do you think would be the immediate effect of the brand-split in terms of ratings, superstars, and story lines?”
— TWISTED CLOWN™ (@IAmTwistedClown) July 11, 2016
A: The most obvious thing is that it will give a lot of talent a chance to shine. Guys on the bottom of the card like Zack Ryder will be relied upon more and give then chance to take the ball and run with it. From a storyline perspective, I really hope they try to make RAW vs Smackdown into a competition like the Monday Night Wars with both brands trying to outdo one another. I am not sure how Vince can do it, maybe offer the brand with the higher ratings more compensation or something to motivate the boys. Let us know what you think!
Q: @WrestlingG2 asks:
@InnerN3rd how long do you give the brand split to see if it is a true success?
— Everything WWE (@WrestlingG2) July 11, 2016
A: I think we are going to have to give it a couple months. I have high hopes for the split. I really hope they don’t just mail it in with 2 weekly live shows. Have both brands trying to outdo one another like I mentioned above. Make both shows must-see TV. Most fans would watch RAW each week but skip Smackdown. Make sure to boost and promote each brands equally!
Q: @bubbakidd asks:
Was it easier for talent to make a name for themselves without the PG rating? https://t.co/l3RVP8N8DM
— Daniel Moore (@bubbakidd) July 11, 2016
A: Good question. As an adult, I wish they went back to an edgier product. I really think with Social Media and things now it would allow talent to get over big with fans. I loved the ‘Attitude Era’ the most when talent could do whatever they want essentially to get ratings. I understand why the WWE markets the product towards kids, I just selfishly would love to see it change a bit. To answer your question: I do think it is easier for talent to make a name for themselves without restrictions that PG entails.
