News broke a few days ago that Alexa Bliss had suffered an arm injury. WWE says that she was suffering from numbness in her left shoulder after her match against Ronda Rousey. Alexa was replaced by Ember Moon in the Mixed Match Challenge.
We have a potential hint on Alexa’s status after the announcement that she was injured.
WWE.com’s preview for Monday Night RAW this upcoming week teases that Alexa Bliss will be on the show. This is good news as it seems to be a hint that Alexa’s injury isn’t very serious (or it was just a work all along). WWE is teasing something with Alexa and Nia Jax on the show:
“Alexa Bliss might be out of Ronda Rousey’s orbit for now, but The Goddess was quickly forced to deal with another longtime rival when Nia Jax resurfaced to help Ember Moon obliterate Bliss’ cohorts, Mickie James and Alicia Fox. It’s been a while since Nia and Alexa mixed it up, though it’s safe to say The Irresistible Force hasn’t forgotten the Money in the Bank cash-in that snapped her Raw Women’s Title reign. Alexa, then, has a lot to answer for and not a lot of time to figure out how”
Three matches have also been confirmed for RAW:
- Brie Bella vs. Ruby Riott
- Lashley vs. Elias
- Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre vs The Revival – RAW Tag Team Championships.
In other injury news, WWE recently announced that Sasha Banks has been pulled from Mixed Match Challenge.
