I wanted to share my thoughts on who will be the next Superstars to turn. These are my WWE heel turn predictions for the rest of 2019.
WWE Heel Turn Predictions
4) Asuka
When: The End Of 2019/ Early 2020
Asuka is currently involved in a tag team with Kairi Sane. This will definitely be a fun team and they will more-than-likely win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at some point soon.
While saying that, I could definitely see a heel turn at some point down the road. Not anytime soon but after several months of Asuka and Kairi teaming together. They make a great team but I prefer both as singles competitors. As a result, I hope this isn’t a long-term pairing.
I could see Asuka turning on Kairi at some point over the next year. I have always preferred Asuka as a heel and she did some great work as one while in NXT.
This would also set up a feud between Asuka and Kairi Sane, which could end up being a lot of fun. Maybe we even end up with Asuka vs Kairi at Wrestlemania 36?
3) Carmella
When: Prior to Survivor Series
With the introduction of the 24/7 Championship, I think that we are going to be seeing Carmella turn heel at some point.
I feel like WWE is setting us up perfectly for Carmella to eventually turn on R-Truth to win the 24/7 Championship. This would be a way to get the Women’s roster involved with the belt. Carmella is also the only person whom Truth trusts around him while Champion. It would be easy for her to take advantage of that trust and con him out of the belt.
Carmella has always been a solid heel, so I think that we could see her eventually turn on Truth. I love Carmella and Truth together but I think WWE might split them up at some point.
