Hangman Page Comments On If He Sees AEW As Competition For WWE

Adam ‘Hangman’ Page was recently interviewed by Wrestling INC. This came after the AEW Rally on Tuesday night.

During the interview, Page was asked if he thinks AEW could eventually become competition for WWE. Below are some quotes (via Wrestling INC):

Hangman on if AEW could be competition for WWE:

“That’s not really something we’re focused on. We just want to be the absolute best as we can be. That’s all we’re really worried about”

On if there was a message sent to WWE since the rally took place in Jacksonville (where Smackdown was located that night):

“That’s never been our intention. Our intention is to give the fans the best wrestling in the world, the best roster in the world and to have a company that listens to the fans and responds to the feedback. I think all of our minds are set on that goal and that’s what we’re really looking forward to doing.”

On a related note, Cody and Brandi Rhodes had this to say about reports of AEW merch being banned from Smackdown.
