Goldberg Comments On If His Match Against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series Is The Last Of His Career

It is official, Goldberg will take on Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series in Toronto. This will be his first match in a WWE ring in 12 years. The last time he was, he defeated Brock at Wrestlemania XX in a match that was disappointing to many fans. Below is an update on Goldberg’s status.

On the Heated Conversations with Booker T podcast, Goldberg says that he is treating his match against Lesnar as the last of his career:

“I’m treating it as [a one-shot deal], man. That’s what they offered. That’s what I accepted. If they wanted more, they would have offered more. So I took the offer when it came to a mutual decision, which I believe was mutually positive for everybody involved” (Source: Heated Conversations).

He continued:

“Dude, I treat it was such. I have a one-match contract and I’m taking it like the last match of my career. And the minute after the match is over, I won’t bask in it. I’ll think about what’s next. If it’s anything else in the wrestling world, I’ll consider that. If not, hey, man, it’s not like I’ve looking for something to do the last 12 years by any means”  (Source: Heated Conversations).

Goldberg also spoke about embracing Vince McMahon backstage after his RAW promo last week. Looks like Survivor Series will be the last appearance for Goldberg in WWE and maybe even his wrestling career.

Let us know what you think in the comment section below. Would you want Goldberg to stick around for a couple of more matches or are you okay with the one-shot deal?
