WWE announced that the King of the Ring will be returning. The tournament will be starting on Monday on RAW.
We have some news to pass your way about the full schedule for the tournament. This comes via PWInsider.
— The first round will kick off on RAW in St. Paul, Minnesota. The first round will continue on Smackdown in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. That means 8 tournament matches will be split between the two episodes.
— The second round will be taking place on the August 26th RAW in New Orleans and the August 27th Smackdown Live in Baton Rouge. That would mean 4 tournament matches split between the two episodes.
— The semi-finals will take place at the September 9th and 10th episodes of Raw and Smackdown in Madison Square Garden. This will be the two semi-final matches split between the episodes.
— The finals will be held at the Clash of Champions PPV in Charlotte, North Carolina.
No matches have been confirmed but here are the competitors:
- Raw: Baron Corbin, Cesaro, Cedric Alexander, Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, Sami Zayn, Samoa Joe, The Miz
- SmackDown: Ali, Andrade, Apollo Crews, Buddy Murphy, Chad Gable, Elias, Kevin Owens, Shelton Benjamin
