— The 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic was announced to kick off the taping. The winning team gets a NXT Tag Team Title shot at TakeOver: New York.
— The War Raiders defeated Chico Adams and Vandal Ortagun.
— A Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa segment happened. They announced they’re entering the 2019 Dusty Classic as a team.
— Aliyah and Vanessa Borne defeated Taynara Conti and Xia Li.
— Dominik Dijakovic vs. Keith Lee ended in a double countout.
— Shayna Baszler defeated Mia Yim.
— Aleister Black and Ricochet defeated Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel in a 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinal Match.
— The Forgotten Sons defeated Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan in a 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinal Match.
— A segment happened involving Velveteen Dream and Matt Riddle. This was teasing a future match for Dream’s NXT North American Championship.
— Moustache Mountain defeated the Street Profits in a 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinal Match.
— Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa defeated the Undisputed Era in a 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinal Match.
- After the match, the War Raiders came out and stared down Gargano and Ciampa.
— Luke Menzies defeated Eric Bugenhagen.
— Sasha Banks and Bayley came out and announced they will also be defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in NXT. They told the Women in the NXT locker room to get ready to step up.
— Pat Mcafee joined the broadcast team halfway through the taping.
— Adam Cole defeated Punishment Martinez.
- After the match, Cole talked some trash about Velveteen Dream, teasing a future match between them. This lead to a brawl between Dream and Cole, with Dream ending up on top.
— The Forgotten Sons defeated Moustache Mountain in a 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic semi-final Match.
— Bianca Belair vs. Io Shirai ended in a double disqualification after Shayna Baszler interfered and attacked them both.
- Kairi Sane attempted to make the save and was choked out by Baszler.
— Aleister Black and Ricochet defeated Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in a 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic semi-final Match.
- Ciampa attempted to attack Gargano after the match. Gargano was prepared for the attack and ended up getting the better of Ciampa with a beat down. Gargano held the NXT Title over his head to close the taping.
— Black and Ricochet vs the Forgotten Sons will be the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic final Match. It is unclear when it will take place.
