3) Daniel Bryan
I think that there is a chance that we could see Daniel Bryan as the final member of Team Ciampa at Takeover: WarGames. This would make some sense in the storyline as Adam Cole and Daniel Bryan faced off on Smackdown a few weeks ago. Cole ended up winning after a fun match to retain the NXT Championship. It might make sense for Bryan to want some revenge on Cole after losing to him.
Bryan would definitely be a fun option for this spot. I think that the fans would pop for him wrestling at a Takeover special.
Bryan will also face off against Bray Wyatt at Survivor Series for the Universal Championship. WWE could even book ‘The Fiend’ to take out Bryan during the WarGames match if they wanted to continue that storyline.
Either way, I think that Daniel Bryan would be a fun surprise here.
2) Kevin Owens
I think that Kevin Owens would make a lot of sense as the final member of Team Ciampa for this match. Owens was attacked by The Undisputed Era on RAW this week. This came after Triple H was trying to recruit Owens to NXT’s side before Survivor Series.
Since it was The Undisputed Era who attacked him, maybe we see Owens join forces with Ciampa’s squad? It would make sense based on the attack from RAW. Plus, I think that fans would be really excited about Owens being a part of this match.
Owens is definitely one of the top candidates in my eyes. I think that fans would love to see him back in NXT.
