Fan Theory On The Plans For Becky Lynch And Charlotte Flair After TLC

Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Asuka put on one hell of a match at TLC. Asuka ended up winning the Smackdown Women’s Championship. This came after Ronda Rousey interfered and took out both Charlotte and Becky.

Right after the match, fans have been talking about what WWE is going to do with this storyline moving forward.

We wanted to pass along something that we have seen making the rounds. This is just a popular fan theory that I have seen (and I can’t take credit for the idea).

The most common thing that I have seen floating around is we could now be getting a triple threat match at Wrestlemania 35. That would be Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair. I originally thought that we would get Ronda vs Becky at Wrestlemania but it looks like Charlotte is also coming along for the ride.

Where the theory kicks in is how we would get to that triple threat match. The idea is that WWE could do a similar finish to what happened in the 1994 Royal Rumble match. For those who forget, Bret Hart and Lex Luger went over the top rope and hit the floor at the same time. The idea would obviously be that Charlotte and Becky would be co-winners of the Rumble in similar fashion and would both challenge Ronda.

This seems like a plausible way that WWE could set this match up if they are going the triple threat route. This is just a fan theory at the moment so don’t take it as anything more than that.

How would you feel about that triple threat match at Wrestlemania 35. Let us know in the comment section below.

  1. Triple threat is blah… Flair is the woman’s division Cena/Reigns and was supposed to get that spot as a one on one and Vince refuses to give us what we actually want.
