Much speculation has been surrounding James Ellsworth and his WWE status. Ellsworth has become a fixture on WWE television over the past several weeks. Most notably, he holds two victories over WWE World Champion, AJ Styles. But is he signed?
Ellsworth recently posted on his Facebook page that he was no longer taking independent dates. This meant that he was likely signing a full-time deal with WWE. Ellsworth appeared at his final Independent date on Friday and announced that he had signed a WWE contract.
It was an emotional moment for him and the audience, watching someone achieve their lifetime dreams. Here is the video of the announcement:

Awesome stuff. Love seeing someone work hard to achieve their dreams. I know a lot of people are sick of him in the main event scene but I think he certainly has a place in WWE. Keep him around as a permanent jobber and whenever you need some comedic relief.
