2) The Miz Retains His Title

The second match of the night on Smackdown Live was another title match!!! After winning a non-title match at the Tribute to the Troops special, Apollo Crews got a WWE Intercontinental Championship match against the Miz.

Maryse got kicked out of the match but it didn’t matter, the Miz was able to cheat by himself and retain his title. The Miz poked Crews in the eyes before he hit him with a ‘Skull Crushing Finale’.

The Miz was able to survive another title defense. Crews showed a lot of promise in a losing effort. Looking forward to seeing more from him.
