Daniel Bryan Reveals Who He Wants To Steal Away From RAW

We are a couple of weeks into Daniel Bryan’s reign as the general manager of Smackdown LIVE. The blue brand has been off to a solid start, despite having a smaller roster than RAW. In a recent interview with Fox Sports, Daniel Bryan spoke about a wide variety of topics about his role so far as GM. One of the questions he was asked, was who he would want to steal from RAW and bring over to Smackdown LIVE.

Bryan says that if you would have asked him a couple of weeks ago, his answer would have been Cesaro:

“So, if you would have asked me three weeks ago I would have said Cesaro, but he’s actually got some really great opportunities on Raw the last couple weeks, this past Monday he had two matches including being in the main event on Raw, so I hope that leads to him getting a larger role”  (Source: Fox Sports).

He says he would love to steal Sami Zayn away from RAW:

“But, because of that, now I would say Sami Zayn. I mean Sami Zayn just had this incredible match with Kevin Owens that he won at Battleground, and fans really like him and he wasn’t even on Raw on Monday. We could really use somebody like that on SmackDown” (Source: Fox Sports).

Sami Zayn would be awesome on Smackdown LIVE. Consider the fact that Zayn is coming off a match of the year candidate with Kevin Owens at WWE Battleground last month. Now he is not even scheduled for a match at Summerslam. If Zayn isn’t going to get a shot on RAW to be in the spotlight, I think he should be traded and given that opportunity.

Let us know what you think of his comments below! Who would you like to see Smackdown LIVE steal away from RAW?

  1. Both guys were drafted late in rounds, He had the oppurtunity to get both of them. Instead if drafting younger talent and creating new superstars, he drafted veterens (AJ Styles exception, as he is great…. Phenomenal, some would say) in the higher rounds. Its pretty much all his fault.
