Since Daniel Bryan retired several months ago from the WWE, we have constantly heard that he feels like nothing is wrong with him. He says that he has been cleared by a number of doctors, except from the WWE staff who make the final decision for his WWE career. In a recent interview with the Daily Progress, Bryan says he hopes to wrestle again and some days he feels like asking for his WWE release.
If Bryan wants to wrestle again:
“I honestly do. All the real concussion specialists who deal with concussions every day, all of them think I am fine” (Source: The Daily Progress).
Bryan talks about wanting to ask for his WWE release to wrestle elsewhere:
“There are times I just get all worked up and I’m like, I need to call them and I’m just going to ask for my release, Hell, I might even be wearing a mask at an independent show next week dressed up as Star Man, because it’s what I love to do. But, it becomes different when you have a wife and you’re trying to have kids” (Source: The Daily Progress).
He also understands why the WWE won’t clear him, since concussions are a hot topic right now in sports and if something happened to him under their watch it would look bad.

For the record, WWE’s Dr. Joseph Maroon was asked for a statement on the topic and they remain firm that it’s not under his best interest to return to the ring. This means he will likely never be cleared by the WWE.
I can see him returning to the ring after his contract is up with the WWE. He seems convinced that he is okay and I don’t know if anything will stop him. I could see him going to New Japan Pro Wrestling or Ring Of Honor. I guess we will have to wait and see.
These are not the actions and decision making of a sane individual, these are the decisions of a delusional 8 year old which sort of backs up the concussion problem. I guess the Miz being right is more important than not killing your wife a few years down the road. Dumbass.
