On the latest edition of the After The Bell podcast, Corey Graves shared some of his bold predictions for WWE in 2020. One of these predictions had to do with Wrestlemania 36.
Graves ended up choosing the match that he thinks will main event the show this year. Here is what Graves said (h/t to Sportskeeda for the quote below):
“My prediction for the main event of WrestleMania this year, with the Universal Championship on the line: The Fiend, the reigning Champion, will defend against Big E from The New Day.
“I said it here on After The Bell, it is about time for Big E to get his just due and have his opportunity at a big-time singles run. I think Big E versus The Fiend under the bright lights of WrestleMania in Tampa, Florida could be truly memorable.”
My Take:
- This is definitely a bold prediction. Most fans have Bray Wyatt vs Roman Reigns or Bray Wyatt vs Braun Strowman as the favorite. I would love to see a Big E singles push though so I am down for it.
