UFC superstar Conor McGregor sent out a tweet on Tuesday saying that he is retiring young from Mixed Martial Arts. It was an odd tweet that has a lot of people speculating that it was a joke or him trolling. Conor is/was set to face Nate Diaz in a re-match at UFC 200 in July.
Here is the tweet by Conor:
I have decided to retire young.
Thanks for the cheese.

This was very out of the blue and had people assuming it was a joke. The more information that is coming out makes it seem like it might be true? Here is Conor’s head coach John Kavanagh tweeting and stirring the pot:
Well was fun while it lasted

Very respected MMA reporter Ariel Helwani tweeted the following:
Multiple sources are adamant at this time that McGregor’s tweet isn’t a joke, troll job or hoax of any kind. Reason(s) behind it is unclear.

What a situation going on right now. Conor and his team might be trolling to get more money for UFC 200. He also might be officially retiring. Let us know what you think is going on here!
UPDATE
Conor has been pulled from UFC 200!
