CM Punk recently took to his Instagram story to share an internal booking sheet for Wrestlemania 30. This shows several matches that were originally planned for the event but ended up getting changed. Here are the matches that Punk posted (and what actually ended up happening at the event).
— Batista vs. Randy Orton (c) for the WWE World Heavyweight Title
- Daniel Bryan ended up getting added to this match, turning it into a triple threat.
— CM Punk vs. Triple H
- Triple H faced Daniel Bryan at the event. CM Punk didn’t wrestle at all as he had left the company by the time that the event happened.
— The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar
- This match still ended up happening.
— John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
- This match still ended up happening.
— Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
- Bryan went on to wrestle two matches on the show. The first was against Triple H and he later defeated both Randy Orton and Batista in the main event. Sheamus took part in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at the event.
— Big Show vs. Kane
- Kane and The New Age Outlaws were defeated by The Shield at the event instead. Big Show took part in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
— Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose (c) for the WWE United States Title
- The Shield ended up defeating Kane and The New Age Outlaws instead.
This is also another example of how plans can change in WWE. Let me know what you think of these matches in the comment section below.
