This week on RAW we saw the retirement of the Dudley Boyz. Like the old school guys they are, Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley went out on their backs after an assault from Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Much speculation has been brewing if the Dudley Boyz are hanging up the boots for good. Bubba Ray cleared up all speculation on Twitter.
A fan tweeted at Bubba talking about his retirement:
It’s finally sinking in that @BubbaRayDudley & @TestifyDVon are retiring… thank you both so much for all your sacrifices.

Bubba confirms that the Dudleyz aren’t retiring from professional wrestling, only the WWE.
Whoa!! Retire?!? Who said anything about retire? There are plenty of great teams out there we want to work with. ?? https://t.co/lrm2q5Tp44

Looks like the Dudley Boyz will be continuing their career. Not clear if they will sign with another company or they will just work on the independent scene. I can’t really blame them though as they haven’t had a very memorable year since returning to the WWE last year. When they came back, I thought they would get one last title run but it wasn’t in the cards.

WWE really screwed up their return, I don’t blame them for not wanting to stick around.
Why would another title run matter? They’ve had several.
To me, it’s more important and memorable that tag teams have good feuds.
