One of the more interesting parts of Survivor Series was the crowd reaction during the match between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair. After Charlotte turned heel, fans started chanting “Thank You Charlotte” and also booing Ronda. Ronda has been receiving some pretty strong (positive) reactions so far in her WWE career, so this was a bit strange to hear.
On Busted Open Radio, Bubba Ray Dudley shared his thoughts on why the crowd was cheering Charlotte over Ronda.
Bubba brought up the point that the crowd reaction actually had more to do with Becky Lynch than Charlotte or Ronda.
He thinks that Becky endorsing Charlotte on Smackdown last week led to the crowd reaction that happened at Survivor Series. Charlotte was “Becky’s girl” for the match and it ended up getting Charlotte over with the fans.
Here is the video of Bubba explaining himself:
“What Charlotte did last night should have got her booed out of the building. It was the exact opposite, and it was because of @BeckyLynchWWE” – @bullyray5150 on @MsCharlotteWWE vicious attack on @RondaRousey last night at #SurvivorSeries pic.twitter.com/M0v03LbYCR

He brings up a really good point. Fans were booing Charlotte just a couple of weeks ago. Now that Becky endorsed her, they went nuts for her. I think that just goes to show you how over Becky is right now with fans.
In other news, here is the latest rumor on a mistake that was potentially made by WWE at Survivor Series.
