UFC President Dana White was recently a guest on The Dan Le Batard Show. During his appearance on the show, they spoke about the rumored super-fight between Brock Lesnar and Jon Jones that was buzzing several months ago.
Dana revealed Lesnar’s WWE contract details and when it expires while he was on the show.
It was rumored that Brock’s deal with WWE ended right after Wrestlemania 34. According to Dana, his deal with WWE ends at the end of the Summer of 2018.
Here is what Dana said when speaking about the reason why Jones vs Lesnar didn’t happen [h/t to Fightful for the quote]:
“Well Lesnar was still under contract to the WWE until next August. Who knows what would have happened. I don’t count my chickens any more, I’ll tell you that. They didn’t want to do that again. You saw what happened the last time he was under contract (and fought),”
Looks like Brock is sticking around for a bit longer than what was originally believed.

Brock has no business going back to the UFC. Stick with what you’re supposed to do.
