Brock Lesnar Reveals The AMAZING Way Vince McMahon Decided If He Could Fight At UFC 200

As you likely have heard by now, Brock Lesnar will be competing inside the octagon once again at UFC 200 on July 9th. In order for this to have come about, the WWE had to sign off on the deal because Brock is still under contract with the company. Brock appeared on Sportscenter Monday morning to discuss a wide variety of topics on his UFC return. He was asked what Vince McMahon thought of all of this and how he made the decision to allow him to return to the octagon.

Brock had an amazing answer:

“I said, ‘Listen, old man, we can do this the hard way or the easy way’ . I said, ‘Do you wanna arm-wrestle for it?’ and he’s like, ‘Yeah, what the hell.’ So, I ended up beating him, and here we are”

I know what your thinking…. Any other human on the planet but Vince McMahon and this is a joke and a non-story. I can totally imagine Vince making a decision like this (and if you follow the WWE and Vince closely you likely agree with me). ‘Dammit Brock let’s arm wrestle for it’.

Lesnar said in a more serious tone that it is actually a winning situation for the WWE:

“In the WWE brand, I’m a legit athlete in that brand, and I bring lots to the company. For me to get back in the Octagon legitimizes why the WWE has me in their company. It’s a win for all of us.”

Hard to argue with that. Try not to picture Vince and Brock arm wrestling… I dare ya.

  1. If Titus O’Neil got suspended for hugging Vince (allegedly) when he wasn’t supposed to, I doubt this is really how it happened with him and Brock.
