Bray Wyatt Explains Why He Became A Pro-Wrestler, Talks The First Time He Saw The ‘Fireflies’

Bray Wyatt recently spoke with the Austin Chronicle to promote the upcoming Smackdown LIVE. During the interview he spoke about why he wanted to become a pro-wrestler in the first place. He also explained how he felt when he saw the ‘fireflies’ for the first time during his entrance. Here are the highlights of the interview.

Wyatt on why he wanted to become a pro-wrestler:

“It’s such a simple answer. If you have a voice like mine, that I want to project and I want people to hear, millions and millions of people watch this show every week. If you have a childhood dream to change the world, it’s the perfect outlet” (Source: The Austin Chronicle).

On the first time he saw the ‘fireflies’ during his entrance:

“It was madness. It was a euphoric moment, and I had a hard time taking it in. Harper tugged at my shirt and said, are you seeing this? It wasn’t something that I provoked or asked them to do, it’s something that they just did” (Source: The Austin Chronicle).

Smackdown LIVE will be at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas this Tuesday.
