WWE had previously said on RAW that Braun Strowman tore his rotator cuff during his match against Roman Reigns. Strowman’s rotator cuff is okay but it turns out that he suffered a legitimate injury that will cause him to miss the next several weeks.
According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Strowman is expected to have a minor procedure done to fix issues with his elbow.
The report says that Strowman is expected to be out for four to eight weeks as he recovers. This has also reportedly caused WWE to change their plans for the upcoming Extreme Rules and Great Balls of Fire PPV Events. As we noted prior, Strowman was expected to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at the Great Balls of Fire event. We can also assume that he would be facing Reigns again at Extreme Rules if he was healthy to end their feud.
Without spoiling too much of RAW this week (you can check out the full spoilers here), it looks like he was written off television.
Strowman has been working recent WWE live events against Roman Reigns so we have to assume that the injury occurred recently or that it is something that he has been fighting through for a while now.

Sucks for fans of Strowman as he was really coming into his own as a monster. It is unclear what his plans will be when he returns.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
