Booker T Teasing Multiple New Title Belts After WWE Brand Split?

With the news of the WWE Brand Split, many questions still exist regarding the landscape of the WWE. Specifically questions about if any new championships will be added. Many have asked the question about adding another heavyweight title so each show has their own. Booker T recently was interviewed by WrestleZone Radio and might have let the cat out of the bag that a 2nd heavyweight title might not be the only title that gets added after the split. He makes reference to another set of WWE Tag team titles being added as well.

Here is what he said:

“I am going to sit back and watch it just like everybody else. I’m excited about the brand extension. I’m excited because it’s going to give us a chance to see two champions again. From a tag team perspective. From a heavyweight perspective. Another belt may be implemented. I’m looking forward to seeing the younger guys go out there and seeing what WrestleMania 33 is going to look like” (Source: WrestleZone Radio).

Tell me he did not just say that!!! (Booker T voice).

Booker T currently works as a member of the WWE pre-show for RAW and special events. I haven’t thought about adding a second set of tag titles but I think it makes sense. If the WWE is committing to the Brand Split it could be fun to see both RAW and Smackdown with their own Heavyweight title, tag titles, one of the Intercontinental or United States titles (or maybe even the Cruiserweight Championship). Eventually I would also like to see possibly a Women’s title on both shows as they keep signing and developing female talent.

Let us know what you think about Booker T’s comments. Did he spoil something? How many titles would you be happy with after the WWE Brand Split?? Let us know below!
