6) Rey Mysterio Will Accept An Open Challenge From Shinsuke Nakamura
As of writing this, Shinsuke Nakamura doesn’t have a match for the event. My guess is that Nakamura could host an open challenge for the United States Championship at the event.
His challenge will be answered by Rey Mysterio, who is rumored to have recently signed a contract with WWE. This seems like a great way to bring him back into storylines as Smackdown needs some babyfaces right now.
A Nakamura-Mysterio feud sounds fun to me. I think that it could happen.
5) Braun Strowman Will Split From Dolph Ziggler And Drew McIntyre
One of the marquee matches of the event will be the 6-man tag team battle. The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose) will face the Dogs of War (Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre).
WWE has swayed fans into thinking that the Shield could be splitting up. I actually think that it will be Braun splitting up from McIntyre and Ziggler. Braun doesn’t need anybody watching his back and I think that the Dogs of War will be finished after the match in Australia.
I think that Ziggler or McIntyre will take the pin here. Braun will say that both of them are weak links and he doesn’t need them anymore.
4) Randy Orton Will Cost Daniel Bryan His Match Against The Miz
A big match at the event will be Daniel Bryan vs the Miz. The winner gets a future WWE Championship match, so the stakes are high.
My theory is that Randy Orton is going to attack Daniel Bryan during this match. As a result, the Miz will win and become the number one contender. This protects the Miz and Bryan from taking a clean loss here. It also sets us up for an Orton-Bryan feud over the next month or two, which would be fun.
I am convinced this is happening and nobody can talk me out of it.
