Bobby Lashley was last seen on WWE television on July 15th, where he took part in the RAW battle royal to determine Brock Lesnar’s opponent at Summerslam. Lashley also hasn’t worked a WWE live event since June.
We have an update to pass your way on Lashley.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has provided some details on Lashley’s status. While the exact injury isn’t clear, Sapp provides some details on how long Lashley could be out for. Here is what he wrote:
We mentioned last week that Bobby Lashley had been sidelined with an undisclosed injury. While we don’t specifically know the injury in question, WWE internally has him listed as being out well into the fall. On a recent list that Fightful Select was able to see, they have Bobby Lashley with a November 2 return date.
My Take: Lashley not working live events since June has me thinking that he has been dealing with something nagging for a while now. A November 2nd return would be around 4 and a half months, so my guess is that he got surgery done.
We will let you know if we hear anything more on Lashley’s injury.
