As we noted prior, Becky Lynch is reportedly injured and will likely not be competing tonight at No Mercy. Becky is scheduled to face Alexa Bliss in her first defense of her Smackdown Women’s Title. We have a bit more information on the situation.
PWInsider.com is reporting that it is not a physical injury and that Becky is dealing with some sort of health issue. Here is what they said:
“WWE sources, speaking under condition of anonymity, have told PWInsider.com that a health issue is keeping Lynch from taking bumps. There is no physical injury and she has not been suspended, but WWE officials have made the decision that she cannot take bumps until the health issue has cleared” (Source: PWInsider).
They are certain that Becky will not be competing at tonight’s PPV event but could be involved in some backstage segment. This would be similar to what happened at Backlash where Randy Orton wasn’t cleared to compete but was involved in an injury angle.

WWE is still promoting the match tonight between Alexa and Becky, so it seems as if an injury angle is upcoming.
