News broke late on Monday night that it looked like the TLC PPV is getting changed or dropped altogether. This came after WWE advertised only a live event in Boston on October 21st when it had originally been confirmed as a PPV event.
We have another rumor to pass your way, this time about the Clash of Champions event that was originally scheduled for December 16th in San Jose, California.
According to @Wrestlevotes, there is some reshuffling going on with upcoming events. They say that WWE is dropping the Clash of Champions name. The PPV event on December 16th (update: According to PWInsider, Clash of Champions will be replaced by TLC and will take place on December 16th in San Jose).
There is some reshuffling going on regarding upcoming WWE PPV events. September show in Texas remains as is. Boston date for 10/21 is now a TBD event. Survivor Series in LA remains unchanged. The Clash of Champions name is on the outs as the December date in San Jose is also TBD.

That would probably mean Survivor Series will go back to the format of last year where Champions of each brand face off.
