As you likely have heard by now, Conor McGregor has apparently announced his retirement from the UFC. This is some shocking news and we are still not 100% sure what is really going on. Many people have suggested that Conor would be a perfect fit with the WWE given his trash talking ability and promo skills. Fellow Ireland Native Becky Lynch seems to agree and has been getting after McGregor on social media since the news dropped on Tuesday.

I personally think Conor is a match made in heaven for the WWE. I think if the WWE was smart they would dump a boatload of cash at him to get involved in some way. Conor has such a massive following right now that anything he does comes with a huge following. Imagine Conor had his own stable of Irish professional wrestlers with him as the mouth piece? Becky Lynch, Finn Balor and Sheamus could all join forces. This is probably poor fantasy booking but fun to think of none the less.

I dont really know what to think about this. It depends what his reasons were for retiring the MMA. He’ll be making less money at the WWE and working a WHOLE lot more. . . .it all comes down to what his reasons were for retiring early.
