WWE has announced Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair for Fastlane. If Becky wins, she gets added to the RAW Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania 35. Here are some ways that the match could end.
5) Charlotte Defeats Becky via Referee Stoppage
Becky Lynch will NOT be going into Fastlane at 100%. She has been dealing with a knee injury for the past several weeks. She also had her arm nearly ripped off by Ronda Rousey on RAW this past week.
One possible finish would be for the injured Becky to lose via referee stoppage. This would come after the referee was forced to stop the match after the amount of pain that Becky was in.
The idea behind this would be to sell Becky as a babyface that will keep getting back up, even though she is injured. Becky won’t get pinned or submitted but the referee will make the decision to stop the match. This protects Becky from a loss and makes her look like a badass that wants to keep fighting.
The Result: Becky would have to find another way into the RAW Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania 35 over the next few weeks. The only reason for this finish would be to continue to stack the odds against her.
4) The Match Ends In A ‘No Contest’ After Ronda Attacks Both Becky & Charlotte
Let’s not forget that Ronda Rousey has some beef with not just Becky Lynch but also with Charlotte Flair. As a result, she has the motive to want to hurt Becky and Charlotte at Fastlane.
An interesting way to go would be for Ronda to attack both Charlotte and Becky. This would cause the match to end in a ‘No Contest’. Ronda is a heel now, so it is possible that she just beats the crap out of Becky and Charlotte to garner some heat.
This would help set up the triple threat match at Wrestlemania 35. It would also protect both Charlotte and Becky from taking a loss prior to the event.
The Result: Stephanie McMahon would make it a triple threat at Wrestlemania since the match ended because of Ronda.
