Dolph Ziggler takes on the Miz this Sunday at WWE No Mercy. If Ziggler loses, his WWE career is over. There has been much speculation about what will happen in the match and if Ziggler’s career will actually be over. Below is some backstage talk that indicates Ziggler could be retiring from the WWE and will lose to the Miz.
Here is what Ric Flair said on the latest episode of the Ric Flair Show hosted by the MLW Network:
“I’ve heard that [his contract is up] and I hope it’s not true. He has too much left to offer to the business. I think — and I hope I’m not letting the cat out of the bag — I think they want him to work in the office. But he loves [living in] Phoenix and I don’t know that will happen. He can be with the company as long as he wants to be. He’s that good … he’s in a good place. I hope he doesn’t walk away from it this early, but if he does, I’m sure he’s done well with his money. He’s made a lot of money, so he’ll be okay” (Source: The Ric Flair Show).

Bryan Alvarez on the latest episode of the Wrestling Observer Live noted that the WWE is interested in Dolph as a backstage agent or producer.
Obviously we won’t know until Sunday night but certainly some interesting points. I am a fan of Dolph and hope he continues with the company.
