Finn Balor made a surprise appearance on this week’s episode of NXT. He ended up interrupting Adam Cole’s celebration after he defeated Matt Riddle.
We have a few additional tidbits to pass your way about Balor’s return.
This comes via Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, who says that Balor will not be making any additional appearances on RAW or Smackdown.
Balor is now officially an NXT guy. While saying that, his contract will remain the same.
That means fewer dates and travel for the same amount of money that he was making on the WWE main roster.
My Take: Sounds like a hell of a deal for Balor if true. I have to wonder if we will see multiple main roster stars request to work NXT to try and get a similar deal. I also don’t think this will be a long-term thing for Finn. There are still some great storylines for him on the main roster and I hope that he goes back to RAW or Smackdown after a year in NXT. I still want to see Balor joining up with the O.C and more stuff like that.
