We are only a few weeks away from Wrestlemania 35. The event will be taking place on April 7th, 2019 at MetLife Stadium.
The Wrestlemania match card is always a hot topic of conversation in the months leading up to the event. With so much talent on the current roster, WWE has a tough job deciding who will be featured this year.
We have a backstage note to pass your way about the Wrestlemania 35 match card.
According to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (subcribe here), word from within WWE is that Wrestlemania will feature several multi-person and multi-team matches this year.
This is because WWE is trying to fit their loaded roster onto the card. It is likely that this year will feature the most multi-person matches in Wrestlemania history.
My Take: My guess would be multi-person matches for the Intercontinental, United States, RAW Tag Team, Smackdown Tag Team, and WWE Women’s Tag Team belts. We can also include the RAW Women’s Championship match, which is likely going to be a triple threat. That is a lot of multi-person matches.
