Backstage News On What WWE Employees Were Told Before Smackdown On Friday

Smackdown on Friday took place at the WWE Performance Center. This was changed from Detroit at the last-minute due to the coronavirus outbreak that is dominating headlines.

We have some news to pass your way about what WWE employees were told before the show.

According to John Pollock of POST Wrestling, WWE employees were told that if they were uncomfortable, they would be able to leave without fear of repercussions:

**Multiple people at the WWE Performance Center on Friday spoke with us stating the message conveyed was that anyone that was uncomfortable could leave without any repercussions.

This is consistent with the report of Tony Khan’s message to the AEW locker room last Wednesday that no one would be punished if they opted not to attend the shows.
