News broke recently that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have re-signed with WWE. The rumor making the rounds is that they signed for multi-year deals and for a raise from what they were previously offered.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has provided some backstage tidbits about Gallows and Anderson re-signing.
One source in WWE told Sapp that they were surprised Gallows and Anderson re-signed. They were convinced that the Good Brothers would definitely be leaving the company after their old deals expires.
Here is what Sapp added about the backstage reaction to them re-signing:
The feeling that we got from wrestlers we spoke to wasn’t one of optimism, but rather one of saying they couldn’t really fault Gallows and Anderson for setting themselves up for the future. One wrestler said “more confident in this company than I am. I wouldn’t hold my breath as far as tag teams getting an opportunity.”
It was also noted that Anderson and Gallows are extremely well-liked backstage.
