April 25 2016 RAW Ratings Are In…. Another Drop

April 25 2016 RAW

RAW this week saw Roman Reigns vs Alberto Del Rio as the main event. We also got to see the in-ring debut of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson who took on the Usos. Some fresh matches were also shown as Sami Zayn took on Rusev and Sheamus took on AJ Styles. It still wasn’t enough to raise the RAW ratings for this week.

According to WrestlingInc, this weeks RAW averaged 3.128 million viewers. 3.263 million watched in the first hour. It dropped slightly to  3.184 million in the second hour. A big drop for the 3rd hour with only 2.938 million viewers. This is down from the 3.335 million average that the WWE had last week for the taped show in the UK. Looks like the RAW rating have dropped again!

I think the WWE has done a poor job of late building their show from the first hour to the last and I think this is why we keep seeing the third hour drop. Three hours of RAW is a lot for people in this day and age so they need to keep  viewers hooked for all 3. Why not have the debut of Anderson and Gallows as the main event instead of Reigns and Del Rio?? I get that it set up WWE Payback nicely but people turned off their TV’s because they didn’t care about a match they have seen before with no real implications. I also understand that people are consuming their media differently and the WWE doesn’t need to live and die on the TV ratings but I still think they could be better!

Let us know what you think! How would you keep viewers tuned in for the full show??? Leave us a comment below and let us know how you would try and improve the ratings!
