The RAW Tag Team Title match at Clash of Champions had a weird finish. The referee gave The Street Profits the win after it looked like Andrade had kicked out in time. On closer review, it looked like Angel Garza suffered a serious injury, which led to WWE calling off the match early.
We have an injury update to pass your way about Garza.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Garza suffered a hip injury during the match. Many fans assumed that it was a knee injury but Johnson says that it is hip-related.
Johnson also says that the injury may not be as serious as initially feared:
The belief among sources PWInsider.com has spoken with is that Angel Garza’s injury during tonight’s WWE Clash of Champions PPV was actually related to his hip, not his leg.
Garza will be getting checked out to confirm, but the belief is the injury may not be as serious as initially feared.
