On Monday Night RAW this past week, Mickie James received a few ‘gifts’ in her locker room. These gifts turned out to be a box of adult diapers and a walker. This of course goes with the storyline of Alexa Bliss referring to Mickie as a ‘old lady’ over the past few weeks.
Alexa Bliss was recently interviewed by Channel Guide Magazine where she spoke about the segment.
She says that the box of diapers and walker were actually not her first idea:
“We did a segment where I gave Mickie James some Depend products and a walker. My original pitch was to give her a Life Alert. It didn’t happen, but Nia ended up using a line about it in their match. That’s teamwork right there…WWE creative is amazing. When we have ideas, they always take them into consideration. Whether they use the ideas, I don’t know. I’m not going to lie. My ideas are usually not that great. So, creative takes an idea and makes it that much better. They are amazing to work with and so open to our ideas.”
For those that don’t know, Life Alert provides services that help the elderly contact emergency services. This usually comes in the form of a bracelet that you can press if you have suffered a fall.
