2) Seth Rollins Retains. AJ Styles Turns Heel After The Match
Instead of Styles taking a loss well, he could turn heel after the match. This would likely involve Styles viciously assaulting Rollins.
The idea here is that we would get heel AJ Styles again. He has been a babyface for a while now and this could be a nice change of pace for him.
This would keep the Rollins-Styles feud going for the next few months. That would mean more PPV matches between them. It would also add intrigue to the feud with one of them as a heel.
I wouldn’t be shocked to see Styles turn heel at the end of this match. Could be an interesting way to go.
1) Someone Cashes In The Money In The Bank Contract
The best possible finish for this match (in my opinion) would be someone cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase to win the Universal Championship. Here are some reasons:
— This would protect both Styles and Rollins from taking a loss here. Both guys would walk away from the match still looking strong.
— This would save a Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles rematch for another PPV event. The argument would be that neither of them were able to beat the other. As a result, they could save the rematch for a bigger PPV like Summerslam or even Wrestlemania 36.
— This could lead to a fun triple threat match at the next PPV. It could be say AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre. Sounds like a great triple threat match to me.
The only downfall to this finish is Seth dropping the Universal Championship so soon. While saying that, I want Styles vs Rollins at Summerslam or another big PPV event so I could live with it.
