4) A Double Count-Out Or Disqualification Finish
I think that most fans were surprised like me that WWE is giving us this match so early. I expected WWE to save AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins for Summerslam or Wrestlemania 36. Obviously, this didn’t happen and we are now getting the match at Money in the Bank.
I am going to assume that this will not just be a one-off between them. WWE could easily stretch this out into a few more PPV matches between them. Fans will not complain if we get two or three straight PPV events with AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins at the top of the card.
An easy way for WWE to extend the feud is to have a disqualification or double count-out finish. This keeps both of them looking strong and keeps both of them from taking a loss. If done correctly, it will make their next match mean ever more.
I wouldn’t rule out a screwy finish at Money in the Bank that protects both guys and sets up a rematch.
3) Brock Lesnar Interferes
To build off what I said above, I could also see this match ending in disqualification after Brock Lesnar interferes.
Brock is now confirmed for the WWE PPV event in Saudi Arabia next month. As a result, I could see him interfering in this match to set up something for that PPV.
I could see Brock attacking both Seth and AJ. This would set up Brock vs AJ vs Seth for the Saudi Arabia PPV. Could be a fun triple threat match for the Universal Title.
This would also protect both Styles and Rollins from taking a clean loss and would keep the door open for a future rematch between them.
