The ‘Phenomenal’ AJ Styles sat down with Michael Cole a couple days away from his match for the WWE Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules. Here were the highlights:
- Cole asks AJ if he is a liar. He doesn’t care if Roman or anyone else doesn’t believe him that he isn’t a liar. No one knows what his relationship is like with Gallows and Anderson or what they have been through. He says that they had his back when he was in Japan and took care of him. Now that they are in the WWE, nothing is going to change. He says he will forever have their backs, no matter what.
- He says he will beat Roman Reigns by himself but you better believe that Anderson and Gallows will have his back at Extreme Rules.
- He says that if Anderson and Gallows lay Reigns out on Sunday, he will take advantage but he is not asking for their help. He says whatever happens, happens on Sunday since it is Extreme Rules.
- He says there is a lot of passion in what he does. He has the chance to become the WWE Heavyweight Champion. He has won a lot of championships but not here in the WWE. He says pride and money to help support his family is the most important thing. If you are the WWE champion, money comes with it and so do great opportunities.
- He vows to do anything and everything to become the WWE Heavyweight Champion this Sunday at Extreme Rules.
