AJ Styles kicked off No Mercy by retaining his WWE World Title against John Cena and Dean Ambrose. Styles initially tapped during the match when both Cena and Ambrose had him in submission holds at the same time. The referee couldn’t decide a winner so he re-started the match, where Styles ended up winning.
He posted on twitter after the match:
Winners find a way to win. I’m a winner. #AndStillWWEchamp #WWENoMercy
