A hot topic of conversation last year in WWE was the decision to run live episodes of Monday Night RAW on both Christmas and New Years Day. WWE would traditionally tape episodes a few days in advance if the show landed on a major holiday. They decided to air the shows live instead.
Fast-forward to a year later and it looks like WWE may have changed their minds.
The Little Caesar’s arena in Detroit is currently advertising a “special Friday edition of Monday Night RAW”. This seems to indicate a taped episode on New Years Eve:
JUST ANNOUNCED: See your favorite superstars live in action for a special Friday edition of @WWE Monday Night Raw on December 28! Tickets go on sale September 15 at 10 a.m. 👊💥 pic.twitter.com/KUCjWJQvwT

No word yet on if WWE will do the same on Christmas Eve or not, since December 24th is a Monday this year. We will let you know. Are you okay with a taped RAW?
In other news, you can check out the official poster for Hell in a Cell here (with Roman Reigns depicted as a devil).
