The Punjabi Prison is one of the unique structures in pro-wrestling. The goal of the match is to escape the two bamboo cages before your opponent does. After a 10 year absence, the match was brought back for the WWE Battleground Pay-Per-View in 2017. It is one of the most-unique match concepts in WWE history. 1) The Undertaker vs The Big Show At Great American Bash (2006)
The Great Khali was originally supposed to be involved in the Big Show’s place but he was forced out of the match after elevated levels of enzymes were found in his liver.
The Big Show took Khali’s place and faced off against the Undertaker at the Great American Bash in 2006. Undertaker’s feet ended up hitting the floor first, which gave him the victory.
2) Batista vs The Great Khali At No Mercy (2007)
Batista faced off against the Great Khali inside of the structure at the 2007 edition of No Mercy.
Batista was able to outclimb Khali, who looked like he was going to get out first. As a result, Batista retained his World Heavyweight Championship.
3) Jinder Mahal vs Randy Orton At Battleground (2017)
After a decade absence, the match was brought back in 2017 at the Battleground PPV.
Jinder Mahal defeated Randy Orton to retain the WWE title. The Great Khali returned to help Jinder win the match. He held Randy in place as Jinder climbed down the structure.
