Rumor Roundup: The Plan For Logan Paul At Wrestlemania 37, Big Possible Women’s Free Agent Signing, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Big Possible Women’s Free Agent Signing For WWE

According to Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline, Bea Priestley is likely heading to WWE.

Here is what Meltzer wrote about the situation:

The biggest news from the show is that after losing, Priestley said that this was her last match in Stardom. When she didn’t sign a new contract with New Japan, she also didn’t sign a new deal here and she made this decision some time back. She is leaving Japan. The only thing I can say is that she’s not going to AEW and the rest would be the same conclusion everyone else would come up with, which is the place she’s not allowed to say if she’s going there and thus she’s said nothing. This was kept quiet because if it had been said ahead of time it would have given away the result of the match. People are raving about this as the best women’s match this year and that the top three matches are all great. Syuri challenged Hayashishita for the title.

My Take:

  • NXT UK would make sense as I believe that she had issues travelling to the United States (for AEW) due to a VISA issue. WWE probably offered her a nice contract to work for the UK brand and she accepted. We will have to wait and see but she would be a great signing for WWE.

4) Betting Odds For Takeover: Stand And Deliver (Night 1)

Here are the betting favorites for each match on night 1 of Takeover: Stand And Deliver. Note: the current betting favorites are in bold:

  • Io Shirai (+160) vs Raquel Gonzalez (-230)
  • MSK (-250) vs Grizzled Young Veterans (+190) vs Legado del Fantasma (+750)
  • WALTER (-625) vs Tommaso Ciampa (+350)
  • Dexter Lumis (+167) vs The Field (-250) (Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, “Swerve” Scott, Leon Ruff, and LA Knight)
  • Pete Dunne (-230) vs Kushida (+160)

My Take:

  • There seems like some good value on KUSHIDA. I see him beating Dunne but we will have to wait and see.
