Rumor Roundup: Update On Keith Lee’s Status, Original Plan For Charlotte At WM 37, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Update On WWE’s Touring Plans

According to Sports Illustrated, there are no plans for WWE to start touring anytime soon. This is something that has been rumored over the past few weeks.

Here is what the site wrote:

Sports Illustrated also confirmed that WWE does not have plans to tour throughout the first half of 2021. The current plan is to remain at the Yuengling Center while gauging whether it is prudent to return to a weekly live event model.

My Take:

  • This makes sense. Better to wait until things are more certain before starting to send Superstars to different cities and states. That sounds like a recipe for disaster.

4) The Original Plan For Charlotte Flair At Wrestlemania 37

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Charlotte Flair was originally planned for a match against Asuka at Wrestlemania 37.

Here is what Meltzer wrote:

We’re told she is getting better. She was slated for a match with Asuka at WrestleMania. I suppose it’s possible to add her and they wanted to announce a match.

My Take:

  • I definitely think that Charlotte will get added to the match between Asuka and Rhea Ripley. I don’t see her being left off the card (if she is able to compete).
