WrestleMania 32 Review

Another WrestleMania is in the books! I would like to start by saying that I did enjoy the show and was very entertained. Shane McMahon’s jump off the top of the cell was the highlight for me. I knew he was going to do something crazy, but WILLINGLY jumping off the cell was just insane. I think I was right in my prediction that Shane was brought in for just this angle due to the injuries and won’t be staying with the WWE long-term. Regardless, Shane McMahon is a legend. (See how Twitter responded to this amazing moment!)

The second best part of the night for me was Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley teaming up against the League Of Nations. Anytime I see Stone Cold Steve Austin in the ring delivering stunners and drinking beers, I am a happy customer. Great WrestleMania moment.

I LOVED that the WWE finally got rid of the WWE Divas Championship and we now have the new WWE Women’s Championship. The belt looks great and finally the amazing women of wrestling will start looking more legitimate in the fans eyes now that the divas stigma is going away. I thought Sasha was going to win but I am okay with Charlotte winning and staying as the heel champion.

I have to admit I was disappointed in the Brock Lesnar vs Dean Ambrose match. I really thought this would have been an incredible and bloody match. I thought it would be the show stealer but it didn’t really live up to the hype.

Was very happy for Zack Ryder who won the Intercontinental Championship. This is a guy who has had a roller coaster of a career and it’s great to see him rewarded for his hard work. I legit thought Kevin Owens was hurt as he landed hard on his neck at the end, hope he is okay!

Was really shocked that Chris Jericho beat AJ Styles.. I really thought Styles needed this win way more than Jericho. I just hope the WWE hasn’t soured on AJ already.

I didn’t hate the main event match. I did expect something to happen, either interference or Roman Reigns turning heel. The way that the celebration for Reigns at the end of the show was so short has me thinking they aren’t turning him heel any time soon. If they were, they could have let him get showered in boos to end the night.

The Rock segment was fun as we got to see John Cena return and team with the Great One. A lot of people saying Bray Wyatt got buried here but I disagree. The Rock put him over on the mic as being charismatic and when the Rock pays you that compliment it means something. Fun little segment that I enjoyed.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale was fun! Happy to see Baron Corbin win and make his way to the main roster! It was also great to see guys like DDP, Tatanka and Shaq!!!!

Overall it was a fun night. The WWE could have done things better but it still doesn’t take away from the fun I had. With the amount of injuries they had, I think the WWE did a great job!
